Who am I and why build this?

My name is François, and I’m a software engineer with a passion for building tools that make life easier.

I’m originally from Paris🇫🇷 but I moved to Tokyo🗼 in 2005.

I spend a lot of time on /r/japanfinance and I see a lot of recurring questions come through there so I wanted a website I could point to that summarizes a few key points and could provide helpful tools to get people started in their journey of learning about finance and taxes in Japan.

I hope to expand the list of tools available. Feel free to send me an email if you have an idea for something cool.
